Ethiopian Orthodox pilgrims at Lalibela, Ethiopia. A Hermit nun by the cave that is home, cut into the walls of the tunnels and passages that lead to Bet Giorgis, the most beautiful of the rock hewn churches. Lalibela in northern Ethiopia is famous for it's monolithic roack hewn churches and is one Ethiopia's holiest cities and a centre of pilgrimage for much of the country.
